The Royal Canadian Mounted Breast Police

by Douglass G. Norvell, Ph.D.

August 27, 2006

Even the most strident Canadian feminists; the kind that refer to Ann Coulter as “a hysterical loon” ; are standing still on a proposed law to identify and register women receiving breast implants. The legislation was introduced, then died in 2004, but the proponents are back at it.

Concerned about eventual health problems and a need for monitoring of her freshly sprouted sisters, Canadian New Democrat Marilyn Churley introduced a bill into the Ontario legislature on May 5th of 2005 that would identify and register breast implant recipients. If Ms. Churley has her way, breast implants could soon become the AK 47’s of Canadian politics.

According to Ms. Churley, some 100,000 Canadian women bypassed the Canadian National Health Service sought out private clinics for implants made from
Silicon, Saline or now Soy.

The real number is a mystery, as private clinics do not release information, but perhaps counters got a hold of some trade data, counted the number of implant imports, then divided by two.

Most breast implants are made in the U.S., another American gift to world culture.

To understand the visual impact of the widespread Canadian implants, imagine a City the size of Manchester, England or Houston, Texas where every woman in her fecund years sports B cups or betters.

Trying to get a better handle on the issue, a CBC reporter asked Ms. Churley to review the issue and she voiced her concern that huge numbers of breast implants serve no useful purpose.

“Some are for cancer patients.” said Ms. Churley “but most are purely cosmetic.” A moment’s pause while the reporter must have mind scanned on “large breasts/practical uses,” then the reporter asked, “Aren’t all breast implants for cosmetic purposes.”

If the bill gets incased into law, equally strange things have come out of the Canadian parliament,; enforcement could become a problem.

Women with suspected implants could be asked to produce her “papers” by suspecting officers. To identify suspects, crowd scanning is one possibility along with screening by specially trained agents.

Call them Royal Canadian Mounted Breast Police.

so when u movin to canada, eh, pepps?

I guess it's not totally rediculous beings medical care is paid for by the government. So if implants directly cause a medical problem, they have a way to know about it.
