Let's look at what each of them has accomplished at that same point in time.

Weel, I know in college the guy getting the most action was generally pretty popular.....

This is the ONLY poll I would pay attention to, if I did pay attention at all. With the left in full mouth-frothing what do you expect? The media has been really negative for 8 months. Americans are getting complacent. Another attack will bring some back to their senses.

Remember Barry, look in the archives. I almost hit the last election on the head. I pay attention but not to the crap that you guys do.

Rasmussen Reports:

Monday August 15, 2005--Forty-six percent (46%) of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. This matches the lowest level of Approval for the President since April 22.
Fifty-three percent (53%) of Americans disapprove.

The President's Approval Rating is at 80% among Republicans, 19% among Democrats, and 37% among those not affiliated with either major party.

The important bit of information is the 20% of Republicans disaprove of GWB and the number has risen steadily. At what point will you acknowledge that there's a problem?

I won't. Bush is doing all the right things. It could go to 99.9999999999999999999999999% and as long as George and I agree we are on the right track, all is good.

I understand why you people are so hung up on polls. They're all you have left, and they don't even matter. The President got political capital to spend, and he's spending it.

Could it be you have forgotten that the election is OVER? LOL you guys are so funny. Denial is a powerful thing.

Wonder what Clinton's numbers would be if they took a poll TODAY? VS. Reagan's? How about Bush's 7 years from now?

Seven years from now he'll be known as the "Worst President Ever" and he might even be up for parole.

Sure, lets just make a completely irrelevant comparison to stats that are taken completely out of context. It's pathetic how some "gun-ho" RWWs squirm in the face of facts. But still good for a :bowrofl:

Well, considering that most Americans could tell you who the last 30 people to have sex on "Desperate Housewives" were but can't tell you who the first five presidents were or recite the Star Spangled Banner I think Brian is right to not believe in polls. Who gives a damn what idiot's think?

"Facts"...that's some funny stuff. When in the F have polls EVER shown facts. Truth of the matter is the majority of people who take polls bitch about things when they don't even know what they are bitching about.

Again, I will point to all the polls showing Kerry was ahead for a long time, and they ALL forcasted that he would win. I don't think I call him president, though, now do I?

Polls are slanted to sway public opinion. They prey on the weak-minded and uniformed. People that have no ability to think on their own. Sheeple. Baaa.

OK, forget the polls. Ask people you know and trust what their opinion of GWB is. I think you'll find the same results as the polls.

You guys must be pretty insecure about GWB if you keep diverting attention to Kerry. He lost, remember?

Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry my man. I'm not reverted attention to Kerry. That's really twisting what I said. I was referring to past polls that were W R O N G. Just because Kerry was in them, doesn't mean I'm talking about him. In fact, show in that response where I made mention of Kerry's character or anything like that, and I will kiss your feet. If not, well we'll figure out something you can do for me buddy. I'll take the conti, that should be enough.

Well now, THAT adds credibility to the voting public! Thank YOU!
:Beer

Abraham Lincoln was not popular at times, either. But does anyone doubt his greatness as a president today? Polls and popular opinion are next to worthless, historically and practically speaking.
