Car got vandalized - How do I fix this?

I made the mistake of parking my car in a public place yesterday on the 4th of July.

For those who don't know; Mirroring is the act of an unintelligent, often times teenager who is disrespectful to their parents, parties far too often, listens to bad music, and has no talent. They run through a parking lot with a bludgeoning device, hitting mirrors on vehicles just be prove they're a useless piece of ****.

Anyhow! The mirror casing (drivers side), is fine - the glass is okay - except it's loose from it's..whatever. So now my car needs ANOTHER repair. Worst of all they even peeled off my "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE LOSING" sticker on the glass. Who takes the time to do that? So - how do I open up the mirror casing and fix this? Thanks, y'all.

I'd probably just glue it together, no one needs to know.

I haven't taken a gen 1 apart but I assume you can look behind the glass and see if the little ball and socket came apart if so you can snap other back together
I believe there are 2 onwheels for up down one for left right

If the gears are stripped, once he gets the glass out couldnt he put the guts from another mirror in the housing?
