I still have a year on the warranty. But I went down the road last week (friday) and all of a sudden the message center says "reduced engine power" then flashed "check engine temperature". At that point, I look at the temp gauge it it starts going from normal to hot. So I pull over and let it sit there for about 15 mins, start her up and all is good. Ran fine all the way home. So I take it to the dealer and they replaced the thermostat (thought that it might just be sticking, which is exactly what I thought) Well they said they ran it and it seemed fine (remember its only done it once and it was a week ago) So I get on the interstate to go home and guess what, it happens again. I pull over and call the dealer. (this is a toyota dealer, they have a guy that does there used car warranty work, I bought it used from there with a year warranty). So I took it back to them and got a loaner. They were closing up shop and he said he'd get into it tomorrow. Until then I'm driving a friggin Echo. WTF??? Anyways, anyone know what it might could be???
