My cubicle partner went to Iraq about two months ago and work decided to send him a little package. So far we have a lot of hard candy (he says that his throat gets dry because of all the sand storms), tooth brush/paste, hand sanitizer, q-tips, phone cards, and I plan on getting him some insoles for the boots. Does anyone else have any suggestions? I figured some of you may have had some experience with this.

Magazines, books, chapstick, wet-wipes, candy bars, cd's, pictures, letters, cards, playing cards, beef jerky, peanuts, a t-shirt or ball cap with his favorite sports team, or anything you can think of personally that can connect him with home and friends.

I know he'll appreciate ANYTHING that you send him. :Beer

can you squeeze a girl in the box??

energy bars sound like a good idea....

Maybe kool aid packets or lemonade -- something he can mix with water.

--I would also split it into 2 boxes -- in case one gets lost --

Funny you mentioned that because when we got together at that Lombard meet I found something in that old fashion candy store. It was a minature female in a bikini that grew 5 times its size when put in water. I was thinking of getting that. I told him not to come back married. He told me he couldn't because you can't see any of the woman because they are all wearing things over their face. I told him he could just go for the one that smells the best!!!:eek2:
