Barring any last second changes to my business schedule, I am going to make Carlisle.

I'm thinking of camping out.

Anybody camp out there yet?

Are the campgrounds nice? Any amenities, ie: like showers or do I have to wash in the river? LOL.

Do the people that camp out have a good time or is the place a drag?

I like the idea of camping out because I think it would be a fuller experience. You can still hit the show, hit the bars afterwards and then go back to the campground, pop the top on a couple of cold ones and share some stories under the stars. That appeals to me.

Anybody that has done it and can share an experience or two will be greatly appreciated.

I love sitting by the fire and mellowing out. I spend enough nights in hotel room after hotel room, that it doesn't do it for me anymore. Besides, I have to learn to rough it again. I got 1 kid in boy scouts and 2 in cub scouts. Got to relearn how to hitch a knot or whatever.

I enjoyed camping at Carlisle last year.

The campground I was in was just a field. The good thing about it is that it had a gate to the show. I could just walk to and from my tent at any time.

I enjoy camping and do it whenever I get the chance.

I think I had to pay 30 bucks for 3 nights but I only stayed 2 nights.

Here's a photo of my lodgings.
