Ok so I'm trying to find the best way to have to converters replaced. The sensors sent a coed so the check engine light is on
I have a 06 V8. What's best to replace the pipes are just have them cut out ?
Is it hard to replace the sensors and do I need to have them replaced also

Motorcraft sensors are the best way to go. But if you want cheapo sensors get Bosch, they'll do the same job but have a shorter life span. I'd just replace the sensors and get it over with instead of tampering with the exhaust system.

The sensors are just warning him of a problem with the converters. I think we all know the most likely cause for the failure of the converters. How would "shooting the messenger" help in this situation?

That's what I was thinking the converters went bad because I didn't change the coils and the bad coils caused gas to dump into the converters. I fits that problem when I changed all the coils.
