For the forst time in my life, I am proud to be an under-performing American. Thank You President Obama for showing me the evil of my ways. All of us will soon be depressed, broke and desperate. I can't wait for Obama to save me. Please let me know as soon as possible where the soup line will be in my neighborhood. All hail Obama. Sieg Heil!

As I stated before the election, as soon as the polls showed Obama was going to win, the business community started to fold and self-preservation kicked in.

It's getting even worse. In my business group there is no talk of expansion here in the U.S. It is all overseas. Why have U.S. employees and put up with the mandates from the Obozo?

Flipping burgers and suing each other. Welcome to the new U.S.S. of A.

All that, yet both of my companies are hiring American employees even right now. I can safely say in both cases that my job will not be shipped overseas. Similarly, in my freelance work, two of my clients want me to work for them full time.

Clearly the job market for American employees is desparate! I only have four concurrent job prospects right now - each one offering benefits including health care and three of them at above-industry-average salaries. How depressing.

And though some clients aren't coming in as often I still pull 30-35hrs of massage a week. Though I'd love to do massage therapy in Europe

Its not Obama or Bushes fault, but we just lost a large (for our small shop) print job to a shop in CHINA.I blame..are you sitting down.....Nixon after all he opened the door to China LOL. But seriously this gov. needs to take care of her own and leval the playing field for Americans to be able to compete in the world market!

What field do you work in? What "freelance work" are you talking about?

I work in a couple of very select fields that are fairly recession-resistant and outsource-proof. My freelance work is, in fact, in a field that is getting widely outsourced, but for my clients it is not practical to do so and my physical presence is required.
