Charging system

My wife said that the message system said check charging system. She turned the car off and started it again and it did not say anything. is this something that i should get checked out or is it just another ls thing? like the random beep or my radio not shuting off every once and awhile. Any help would be great. thanks guys

Take it the local autoparts store and have them check to be on the safe side. They can test the charging system in the car.

Took the car in and it was the alt. had to pay $100 and the warenty covered the rest. Is this a common problem in the LS?

happened to me about 2 mths ago..
didn't pay a dime..because it was the alternator...and it was under warrenty...

only had 40k miles also.

mine is and extened warrenty with the first 100 out of my pocket. hope this does not happen again
