Check air ride message.

I searched for a lil bit but didn't find what I was looking for. I've been getting a check air ride message for liek 2 days now... I turned the switch off and the bags don't leak. however I turned it back on and the car does not lower, meaing the bags don't deflate. what could be the cause? I have a obd scan tool.. will that work on the air ride part? or will I need a diff scan tool. Also will that tell me what the problem is?

the compressor is not working. I will check the fuses today. its probally a bad compressor I would guess.
