Wouldn't you know it, james has more bad luck with the Mark VIII
:C
We just had five inches of snow in Eastern Long Island and I was boasting, "Wow this Mark is as good as the Cadillac in unplowed snow, maybe better!"

This morning it's 9 degrees out, I get on the L.I.E. and the car says "BEEEEEEP, Check Air Ride System"

This happened to me in May and I drove around like Cheech and Chong, see my past thread....

I get to Manhattan this morning (Yeah I kept going anyway) and said "Hmmm, I dont feel 'low'" ....

Jumped out of the car and realized that my car is NOW a "Ford Explorer" I swear to God, there's gotta be at least 6" between the wheel well and the tire... Is it Opposite Day? Now what do I do?

If the message came on after you got on the highway, it's more than likely not venting properly - or at all. The stock vent set-up is notorious for getting blocked. It probably had some moisture in the system and froze.

A spider valve from American Air Suspension would cure it if that is your problem.

Good luck. :Beer

Cool, but in theory, sitting in the warm NYC Garage right now, the frozen blockage should "melt?"

When does the light come on?.....45 seconds after the key is turmed on?.....or 90 seconds?....or while going down the road?

From what I've heard, it does sound like the moisture in the dryer is freezing. This may cause troubles not only venting, but pumping as well because its causing a restriction in the dryer.

If its "only" moisture freezing in the dryer, the problem should only really show up in freezing weather.
Short term fix= Replace the dryer.
Long term= Install a SPIDER EXTREME.

If it does it anytime, it could be a vent solenoid problem.....
Short term fix: Replace the compressor dryer.
Long term fix= Replace the compressor/dryer and install a SPIDER EXTREME.

Hey Guys, apparently it thawed out as it sat at the Garage and was fine when I went home... didn't happen this morning...

Wish I had a picture of my own MonsterMark
