ok, i wired my beams/low beams together for more light output. now i have the check ext. lamps message. what wire would i have to cut to eliminate this?

So they both light up at the same time, as opposed to just highs/just lows. Anything to get more light with these terrible headlights is better than nothing.

Hmm...i Dont Know....what Yr Are You Playin With Btw?umm..dont You Get A Ticket Running 2 Lights On In The Dark? Over Here On The Island Cops Give Tickets To People Running Both Lights, cause It Blind Others..i Know Funni Right...plus What State U From?...i Could See If You Had Your Yellow Marker/park Lights Wired Together Running At The Same Time,if This Makes Sence When The Lights Are On..but Both High N Lows?...for An On Coming Driver..your Gonna Blind The Shhiiiit Outta Them-thats F Your Runnin A 97 98..

Is that thing supposed to tell you if you have a bulb out? I had a bunch that were out, and it said the lights were ok.

exactly. plus i have an extra set of everything, so if i melt my lenses, its no big deal. and they are much brighter by the way, so far no issues. i dont think there bright enuff to blind other drivers. and its a gen1 of course.

Seriously, on a gen 1 without HID's you are not going to blind anyone. I drive with my brights on and still struggle to see as well as most other cars with just their low beams. The only thing blinding is trying to read any post by lscgoddess. Is your caps lock stuck on or what?

Having all 4 on isn't going to blind people any more than having your brights on by themselves. The low beams are aimed lower, not into the eyes of oncoming drivers.
