Okay, I took my LS in a few months back about my rear passenger door not being able to open. Got it back after paying the $100 deductable, they replaced the lock. 3 weeks later the same thing happened, this time I didn't pay $100, they said it was the child lock that was turned on on that particular door, got it back that same day 4 hours later. My question is, the manual says that if the child lock is on the door cannot open from the inside, the thing is the door will not open from the inside or the OUTSIDE. All three incidents is the same thing, door won't lock/unlock. What should I do??? The door has to be opened some how, I just don't know how. Thanks for the help guys.

Sounds like the lock solenoid to me. My front passenger's door does it once in a while where it will either stay locked or unlocked. My right rear door has only done it twice... hit the unlock button on the fob and nothing. I had to open it from the inside with the handle.
But, if you can't open it with the handle from the inside either, then it probably has something to do with the inside handle mechanism and/or the rod/lever that opens the door.

Bent rod could be the cause, or bad clip - keeps poping off.
