new guy here. Getting an alarm, remote start, keyless done on my 2002 LS and the guy says I need a 555U, key buypass module, because there's a chip in my key. Is this true?

yes. i got remote start on mine. and they needed both keys to program it. and my bypass module was around $20 give or take... cant remmeber anymore. this is true.
