Cig Lighter not working

So friday i plugged in the phone charger and and noticed my phone wasnt charging so i took it out and all the pieces were in the lighter plug hole. so i took em all out and tryied to light the lighter but nothing. then i checked #33 fuse and its good. what did i do and how do i fix it. thanks

Easy culprit, I had this too, then one day I found out it was only the fuse, look in the passanger side fuse compartment for any blown fuses. Cant remember which one it is... sorry

same here, checked all the fuses like 3 or 4 times???

Does the 12V to the cig lighter have a fusable link (a fuse built into the wire) in it? Just a thought.

i had the same problem but my car still has warrenty and they said cheap chargers cause this problem

Hmm, that's interesting. So do you know what exactly they did to fix it? My warrenty ran out a few months ago.

i'd bet money there's another fuse on this line or you're checking the wrong one. just get a voltmeter and check ALL the fuses.
