cigarette lighter

has anyone tried replace the cigarette lighter in there ls?
when i pluf my phone charger into it, it does not work right, i need to move it around for 5 min and as soon as i hit a bump the :q:q:q:qing thing shuts off.

i know this isn't a solution but u can always try using the one in the back? Thats how i do it so i don't have to take my radar detector out

It sounds like your phone charger is bad. That is what mine did when it went out.

nah, my phone charger works perfect in every other car.

He has a 2000. I think the dual power ports started in 02..?
