This weekend in Oakland Mr. Mixon, a young black man, allegedly killed four Oakland police officers. The first two were motorcycle cops who hand the effrontery to pull Mr. Mixon over. They were killed and Mr. Mixon fled on foot to his sisters appartments where he was cornered by SWAT and other police units. Using a pistol and an assault rifle Mr. Mixon allegedly killed two of the officers before being shot and killed himself.

A paragon of Oakland culture, Mr. Mixon was on parole for armed robbery, could not be bothered to stay in contact with his parole officer, thought it was ok to illegally carry weapons, and wasn't bothered by pulling a 12 year old girl off the street and raping her (confirmed by DNA).

Because of his fine life a vigil for him was held in Oakland today, sponsored by the International People's Uhuru (Freedom) Movement, a scocialist group. He was hailed as "a true hero", his cousin stating "he's not a monster".

With heros such as this being promoted by our media it's no wonder we have the problems in our cities that we do. They can't find any heros helping the homeless through the churches, kids trying to improve there lot by doing well in school, helping their communities through scouting and city programs, companies such as Chevron employing inner city youth and many other things going on every day.

Talk about human garbage and call them heros, a path to the future.

In grand rapids michigan they held a candle light vigil for a homeless child rapist who froze to death because the homeless shelter denied him shelter because of his status, and the close proximity to a church/school.

Not very christian of them, was it? What did they do for his victim(s)? Revile them for tempting him?
