Oaky guys need some help. When i drive down the road i can hear a clacking or clicking noise from the front end. it sort of sounds like a train going down the tracks. i hink that it is the brakes cause when i apply them the noise goes away. if anyone knows how to fix it or what it really is Please reply thanks.

Or--- :) it could be a broken swaybar link. One of mine broke at about 144K.
An hour later with two new ones in place -- no more noise! Linconlov:)

I have an off the wall one for you - similar noise. If I went slow the noise was worse than fast. The noise was from chrome peeling off the back of my chrome 10 spokes - it was hitting the caliper, at fast speeds the chrome bent enough to miss it -- at slow speeds it would give the caliper a good smack every revolution. Peeled off the chunk of chrome and noise went away - had to eventually replace the rim.
