I have a 2005 Lincoln LS V8 with dual climate control. Yesterday something blew some steam from underneath my hood compartment, on the passenger side. Then my A/C wasn't working properly. It was cold, but behaving intermittently. My mechanic checked for obvious signs of leaks and disconnects. He also charged my A/C unit for leaks, pressures, and refrigerant level, etc. All was ok. My A/C is blowing very cold from all vents when set on 60, but when set in the 68-75 degree ranger, it's not blowing well at all, and the heat is almost non-existent. I performed a DATC test and received just one error code of 1265. I've also checked Fuse number one for the DCCV and it was not blown. I had a radiator hose blow a few days prior to this event. It was fixed and I'm pretty sure that the coolant has been refilled properly and thoroughly. I've read that this could be an issue with the DCCV. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!
