Club presence

I went to a car show this past weekend (trying to sell my '64 truck) and I noticed people from clubs all over the place with hats, shirts, and jackets. I think we need to start doing the same. We need to get some gear and then start showing up at local functions to represent. A great way to get our name out there. Just a thought. :L

We are still working on the graphics and logo stuff -- that part of things hasnt all come together just yet. So I cant really throw together the merchandise with logos just yet.

The second half, is Chapters. We are slowly approaching the point where we can actively start building chapters.

The reason thats important, is that its the local area chapters who would really need to work these events and get our presence there.

If anyone wants to start building a chapter, let me know. (hint hint DAVE)

I'd love to but I'm not sure if I have the time to maintain it.

What if for now we come up with some flyers or something so we at least have something to give out if we go to a show. Have it posted here so that people can download it and print as many as they want.

For starters, I havent decided if im going to Carlisle yet. If I dont, there is a group of our members who are also members on Lincolns Online who want to do the Elmhurst thing that week - SO that seems to be a popular week.

One of the things on my list are to design a business card for us -- that we can get to members just for the purpose your thinking of. How about hosting a competition for the logo and stuff... The winning design would get a free coat, shirt, hat or whatever you're planning on putting the logo on... I bet there are a few creative minds in this forum!
