I promise to nicer if you promise to be smarter.
Today, I jumped online to find Cobra Spindles for my 98. Found front spindles, and thought about wheels. I found a bunch of Cobra bolt pattern wheels, and the thought suddenly hit me.

What about the rear wheels? Do the rear... spindles?? off a cobra bold up to the Mark?

Please advise.

Thank you.

Yep, they'll work. The rear spindles area a PITA to get off. If you want to make life easier for you, just slap the Cobra spindles/ brakes on the front wheel and order 4.5's for the front while keeping the 4.25's in the rear and just redrilling the rear Cobra 11.65 brakes into the Mark VIII 4.25 pattern...

Mark is 5 x 4.25 or 5x108mm with a +39mm offset.
Cobra is 5 x 4.5 or 5x114mm with a +29mm offset.

IIRC:

4.5's in 17x9 have a 29mm offset.
4.5's in a 17x8 usually have a 24 mm offset.

I currently have 4.25 with a 36mm offset.

the rear hubs arent that bad to change.. it only cost me $30 to have both of them pressed out, and new hubs and bearings put in..
