Been looking up info on my project; Installing a Cobra intake on my 95 Lincoln 4.6 DOHC going in my 1956 Ford Panel. Want a cruiser that I'm not ashamed to open my hood. That Mark VIII intake just Doesn't look Cool
Has anyone MODed the Lincoln IMRCs to fit the 96-98 Cobra intake?

nonsense. the first gen intake looks amazing.

you could probably fab up some controls for cobra/2nd gen IMRCs if you wanted to. or just delete them entirely.

Physically, the 96-98 Cobra intake will fit onto your engine. Also, the 97-98 Lincoln IMRCs will bolt to both the 93-96 heads and the 96-98 Cobra intake (as a matter of fact, the 97-98 MKVIII IMRCs are the ones to have for this application).
The biggest issue you will have is controlling the later IMRCs on the earlier engine.
