hey guys ive been in the process of pulling the motor on my 95 mark viii for about 2 weeks now not a fun thing. not instead of going through my motor and replacing all the valves instead of just doing one and possibly a piston ive come across a deal on a motor out of a 98' cobra. now does anybody know if the wiring would all match up if i decide to go with that as long as i have the money of course or would it be a big pain in the butt. also as far as difference in motors between the 4.6 in the mark and the cobra goes. i realize there is different cams and stuff but how much different are the internals. wondering if putting 8 to 15+ lbs boost is too much for my stock internals.

yes.. WAY too much boost for a stock motor..cobra or mark.. the cobra had a forged crank, but the same weak powdered metal rods..

if you can get the cobra motor cheap enough, go for it.. its the same motor externally (not counting intake and headers)

my bad, i missed the 8 to 15psi part, and just saw 15psi..
yes, 8 with a good tune should live well. damn speed reading
