I have access to some take off 03 cobra mufflers and wondered if I could make them work,It will give a little more noise but will it drone like crazy?I have a rack and a welder so fitting them shouldnd't be a problem.I am not looking for big noise just a little more rumble, plus I would like to lose the 100 pounds of stock muffler weight.

Sure, you can make them work. But why bother when there are better mufflers?

Wh ich are best to use to avoid the droning.I do a lot of highway driving and I don't want to deal with the droning

Well, any muffler will do, as long as you have some kind of resonator or x-pipe. However, Flowmasters are loud, so avoid them unless you want noise. Dynomax has a nice deep tone.

Iv'e got a set of stainless Magnaflows on my 95. Sound great with NO drone on the highway. Thats with 4.10's also.

Ahhh, Magnaflow. I was going to suggest that, but forgot the name. They're a good choice as well...
