i believe someone told me that no one "makes" a cobra R hood for the mark, you'll have to do it urself.

So i can go to the junk yard find another mark VIII hood then find a cobra R scoop (any help on where i can get one?) and then cut the hood and fiberglass the scoop onto it?

Some guy on here just did his own with pics and all. I've tried searching like heck for it on the forum, but it just occurred to me that it may have been lost when the forum was hacked last month. That would really suck, because it was a really good post.

To get a scoop check out www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com

You can get a Cobra R hood from Super Coupe Performance for $600 plus shipping and crate fee.

I can get CR hoods all day long. Call Old Billy boy and ask him if he can get them.

Also got mine barely used for $400.00. Insurance paid for it. :D

I don't think there is a hood out there that comes close to its style. The smooth curved lines match the flow of the body lines of the Mark and everything. The underside of the hood if flawless and beautiful as well. If you have a chance to grab one, make sure you don't hesitate.

couldnt have said it better myself :Beer

Hey Dog, did you also notice that this style hood also lets out some of the hot air trapped by the stock hood. Mine dopped a near letter on temp.

My son just had his 97 Eldo done, looks sharp, I'll ask him if I can post some pics.

You have a eldo with a cobra R? Thats a little different, but could look cool none the less.

Well, not actually a "Cobra", he had it raised a couple inches, I had some photos, but they must be on the other PC, and I've been haveing a hard time trying to figure out how to reduce them far enough to upload.

Geno, that's cool I didn't know you guys sold the Cobra R hoods. You should put it on the website. I might be interested in ordering one pretty soon... do they come in primer black?

Bummer, I'm running 64-bit Windows, the Resize utility won't install. My photos are about 5MB.
I think I've got it...
