Code readers and scanners

Do anyone know if the Innova Ford Code readers work on a 93 Mark VIII, it says its only compatible with the 95 Mark. Have anyone tried those, and do they work?

yes I have one of these and it works quite well, and also has a memory that let's you go back and review the codes.
