I have a set of Arrnot coil overs front and rear springs. I was wondering has any one cut them to lower their car or should I look for a set of lowering springs? If anyone has cut them, how much would you cut them to make the car lower 1.5in? Thanks for any info. Eric

I had them and I cut them on my 95 I cut a whole coil off the rear and a coil and a half off the front. Looked killer. I suggest doing the cutting in small increments till it's at the drop you want.

The arnott kit is soft enough as it is, don't cut the springs. Save your money and get the proper springs.

If you take a look at the difference of the diameter of the springs you will see that manufacturer lowered springs are quite a bit larger than regular springs. Honestly I don't see how anyone could put arnott springs on their car cut and not bottom out going over a pebble.
