commiting suicide

wassup everyone, i was thinkin of suiciding the rear doors on my '91 lincoln towncar. I would like some opinions, is this worth $2200? :L

Like they say....beauty is in the eye of the :Beerholder.......I would say that it would look like the original Conti from the mid to late 60's....might look kool....but that is something you will have to decide for yourself. :Beer

i think for it to look good u would either have to shave all the door handles or relocate the rear handles to make it like they were on the 60s continentals

and 2200 is the price u pay, unless u have the know how to do it yourself, all it is is a couple hidges and a little metal work

I've thought about doing that to my 88 TC for about 2 years now.The only reason I haven't is the wheel arch in the back edge of the door. I don't think it would look right, and I'm not sure if just a hinge on the upper part of the door would be enough to hold it.

I was wanting to do this mod also but it is a bit pricey. I can weld and do bodywork (i already shaved my back 2 door handles) but I dont think I have the skills to undertake the challenge of suicide yet. I think it would look sweet though!
