Computer upgrade

I would like to hear some opinions on upgrading the ECU. Im frustrated with the transmission shifting way to early and soft if you arent in the gas all the time. I'm not looking to get a shift kit but id rather modify everything through the ECU. Ive looked at the SCT chips available through Blue Oval Chips. These are supposed to be custom to order and are $325. I've also heard you can get the computer flashed at a performance shop that programs computers. I dont know how much that costs. Which do you think would be best? I have a 95 mark VIII bone stock w/K&N.

The EEC IV computers cannot be flashed.
Plug in CHIP is the only option for you.

Go with SCT no doubt.
