LOL that car is so high tech, especially in the suspension area.

It's safer then you think.

It catches bad air but rides on the wheelie bars the rest of the way.
He needs to revamp the front air management. My TA used to lift on the high end and I was only doing 160 and change, I can't imagine it at those speeds must feel incredible.:D :D :D :D

ONLY 160 and change, I would be scared as hell, what is gas mileage like at that speed?

Believe it or not your so into the run, shifting, watching the gauges that you don't even realize your going that fast until you get the time slip.
Plus it's so caged up and you feel so safe.

LOL as for mpg I would have to guess by gauging that I put 3 gallons in and I am almost empty after 3 passes that Im about 1.5 gallons per mile at full throttle?

I haven't sprayed this car yet either, the new LS6 setup I am building has a 3stage 2 bottle 400hp fogger kit so I may be running low 8's in street trim this season. With the NOS Ill be pushing 1150 hp roughly.

Yeah I cant wait. The chassis cert is to 7.50 and man would I love to be in the 7's, MY GOD what a rush that would be.

I will be doing it with the power windows working and a full 4 inch exhaust on DOT tires.

Its the 10.5 inch tire the blows me.

Seems to thin at the traps.
Its contact patch at MPH must be nothing.

But the run must be insane...can't even guess how I would handle it.

Lol! A f...ing Triumph!

Thank god it's not the stock engine! Lol.

Thats awesome! I LOVE those cars.

The fastest I have ever gone is 8.50's at 162 and change, the scariest ride though is our 58 Bug with a 800hp 468 Big Block Chevy!! The "Busa Killer"

You sit in the backseat, the engine is in the front!! Very "wirery" & a bit "unpredictable" LMAO! VERY fun to keep straight with G60 sized Drag Radials.

Beleive it or not that tire is beyond planted with weight that would blow your mind. That rear wing is pushing so HARD you couldn't imagine.

You ever see top fuelers at top end? Those tires "square up" 3/4 of the way around, you have to pause a video of the top end shots!! Awesome downforce.

He does run a 10.5 but its a 10.5W which tire measures 33 inches tall and its tread is 11.6 inches wide.

On my TA I run MT Et Streets in 33 tall & 16.50 wide.

10.5 still seems slim.
Most prostock run a what 15...15.5?
The car is planted.....but 10.5 at that MPH....I would feel better with whats under your TA. :Beer

Top fuel at the big end is always fun to watch :)
