Let's watch Johnny on this one. I wish we had a ditto cam on him.;)

Obama isn't surprised. He WANTED this result. The more people unemployed, the higher the numbers of 'uninsured,' and the more people needing government assistance.

It's all part of the master plan.

Leftist Revolutionaries never know how to fix the real world situations they create, they only have their Utopian ideals and a plan to tear down the existing system.

you know much of it is because these people are too stupid or lazy to get a new job. I know people that are "taking a break" from working or "just sending in resumes" which don't do sh*t half the time. So much of it is blamed because these people don't get off their fat f*cking @sses and get the job/interview. Who wants to hire a lazy @sswipe that doesn't show up in person? honestly?

It's a good point. And when these people you're describing number more than 50% of the voting population of the country, we're in BIG TROUBLE.

indeed. See for me when I was laid off back in march I went IN PERSON to each job that did'nt require a online resume submission. In fact the same day I was laid off I went to 2 spas and gave my resume and letters of recommendation. Then in only 2 weeks I had 2 jobs. Sure there fluctuate between being slow or busy but hell if I was fully booked at both jobs I'd be making 6-7k a month (if it ever gets to that point).

Point being that great things come to those who get off their @ss

The recession that began in 2007, not Obama's policies, continues to drive job losses. Contrary to the right wing claim that job losses this year resulted from Obama administration policies, data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that the trend of increasing unemployment resulting from the recession that began in December 2007 took root long before Obama was elected or inaugurated. From BLS labor force statistics from the Current Population Survey:

The reason why job losses continue is because Obama ain't doing sh*t. He has been in office almost 1 full year and has done NOTHING he said he was going to do. All BUSH admin. policies are still in order which started the downward spiral of the economy, and he has yet to change those. Hell, even the Patriot act is still in effect!

I disagree. I think he's done an awful lot.
Most of it has been profoundly negative and hurt the economy and security of the country, but he accomplished quite a bit of groundwork during his first six months.

He has been in office almost 1 full year and has done NOTHING he said he was going to do.
Again, I disagree.
He's done a lot, but he's focused on systematic changes, while many of the people who voted for him are only looking at the trivial, arguably superficial stuff. And had he not encountered such a wicked backlash this summer, he may have also passed Cap & Trade and Socialized medicine.

All BUSH admin. policies are still in order which started the downward spiral of the economy, and he has yet to change those.
Such as? Which Bush policies led to the "downward spiral of the economy."
And what does Obama support that would strengthen the economy? $1.4 trillion in deficit spending this year?

Hell, even the Patriot act is still in effect!
Do you think Obama supports less government intervention in your life?
Do you really think he supports more civil liberties? Do you even think he respects the constitution?

It may just be what's left of my statistics training kicking in, but both of those graphs, IMHO, are utter crap--they're both intentionally misleading. Where the hell are the zeroes on the Y-axes?
