Cool tool to help track down noises

I'm not sure if I've ever owned a vehicle that didn't present me with some annoying noise that would bother me until I found and fixed it. People suggest heater hoses and screw drivers held to the ear and to the engine parts where you think the noise comes from. I've used those methods and they can be helpful, but I picked up a stethoscope from Harbor Freight for 4 bucks and for me it works better than the hose or screwdriver. It's definitely not professional grade, but for $4 it's been worth every penny.
