I just dropped off my POS at the local dealership and the guys told me that the reason I wasn't getting heat and the reason my fan kepr coming on was because of a busted coolant bottle, $180 for that, a window switch on the drivers door is around $120, and $170 for the traction control sensor that went bad all of a freakin sudden.. Can anyone tell me if these prices are close to reasonable or am I once again gettin dry punched?

Heat reply

I have a 2000 ls and i started having that problem also no heat, as soon as i had my PCM in the tranny got flashed. Im not sure what to do the only thing i was told that could be the problem was the blend doors in the dash.

I was thinking of taking the dash all appart but ill check if my fan always stays on or not.

what?

as soon as i had my PCM in the tranny got flashed. quote"...not too sure what your talking about. I was asking if I was gettingg robbed on the prices or not. someone help
:shifty:

The prices on the coolant stuff sounds right...They had to replace a couple hoses on mine when I had the no heat issue and with the fan on high all the time making the whining noise. When they replaced one of the hoses they broke off the little nipple it attached too....I had to pay for that piece as well because they said it was cracked already....yeah right!!! neways I ended up paying like $360 for all the hoses and stuff, so your price sounds about right.
