coolant bypass problems

The housing behind the thermostat housing is leaking out on the right side. Even when the motor isn't running. Is there supposed too be a cap on the end of this? It is not the thermostat housing

nope, the end got too brittle and either cracked or broke clean off like mine did, the part needs to be replaced, the rest of your plastic parts are probably about to fail in the same way so its best to replace them all at the same time.

Your link didn't show any pictures. Anyway, we don't need them. There is zero doubt that your coolant outlet pipe has cracked, and little doubt that the thermostat housing, degas bottle, and other plastic parts are cracking. You are not the exception here.
