I have a coolant crossover pipe from a 98 cobra with 2 sensors. One on pass side and one on driver side. My gen 2 only has a sensor on the pass side. The wiring harness plug from the mark does not match up with either sensor on the new crossover.

I tried to take out the pass side sensor on the new pipe so I can replace it with a new mark viii sensor, but it does not come out. Is it ok to put the sensor on the driver side instead? That one I can get out. Or does anyone know how to get it out?

Pb Blaster, let sit for a few hours, use a tap method on the wrench, little at a time, instead of the usual steady force on the handle of the wrench.
Same principal as tapping the rim of a jar on the counter to help pop the seal
the sensor is your Coolant Temp Sensor, I'm pretty sure that the temperatures inside the tube are going to be the same thru-out, so I don't honestly foresee any problem in using the other side, as long as the harness reaches
