well, the heat is on here in Kansas, we have been in the triple digits the last 4 or 5 days today it's 104 degrees. I have noticed that a couple of times my radiator fan has not been coming on, if I wiggle the connector it will then come on. I tried cleaning the plug with electrical cleaner and it helped for a few days but it did it again a little while ago. any ideas as to what it could be? thanks for the help guys I appreciate it...

If it kicks on at all you know your fuse is still good. It's in the large panel box under your hood by the coolant overflow tank, refer to your owners manual for location.

If fuse is good, it must be in the wiring. If you cleaned the connector and it started working, and now decides not to, it's probably within the connector itself. Thing is who knows which side it's on huh.

turn on your a/c, anytime you turn on your a/c your fan will run with factory program.

If the fan doesn't kick on, play with the wires on the backside of the connector, if no luck, you can pick up a used one off ebay. It's likely a connector within the motor.

You might be inclined enough to pull the fan out and see if you can play with the elec connections within, I didn't analyze mine much when I replaced it. I replaced shround and all.

Takes ten mins to take out, couple bolts and then just have to get it around the f'n radiator hose, it WILL come out with the hose attached, but you might have to have someone pull on it a bit to hold it back while you wedge it up through as I did.

Good luck.
