Cooling fan

I have a 2001 ls V8 I've had it now 11 years. Now to the point my cooling fans and pump has went out and after looking up new cost of replacement parts I was wondering if there is or if anyone has installed an electric fan. I would think the conversion would be alot cheaper and maybe even not so difficult to complete. Would appreciate any input given thanks. Jeff

BTW, it's fan, not fans. Just one engine cooling fan.
