Please explain the long term positive associated with the abruptly imposed and unenforced cease fire? Other than the short term interuption of the most intense fighting, what was accomplished?
Did either side change their goals or positions?
Is either side in a position where they will be unable to continue to resume attacking again?
To further complicate this, Hezbollah isn't a state, and it's acting as a proxy for Iran and Syria.
Some positive was achieve by Israeli's striking. But what has been accomplished by this half-assed cease fire? What reason is there to assume that Hezbollah/Iran/Syria won't launch some other kind of offensive?
And how does it solve the problem of the terrorist group, Hamas, launching attacks from the previously "occupied" territory of Gaza. Gaza being another region the Israels willingingly gave up in a desperate effort for peace, only to see it used as a stanging area for terrorist attack.
So, Vitas, maybe you do have a point. but I've yet to see you actually explain where you're coming form. What is your logic.
