couple minor questions

ok, whenever im driving, i notice stuff, and so i guess i'll post questions now, even tho i forgot most lol..

did non LSC models *93 and 94* have true duel exhaust like the LSC's do? *95-96*

when ever i have my music up, the drivers side mirror vibrates but the passenger side doesnt... is that just me?

sometimes when i press on the gas, its slow getting up to second. but the other night, i rolled up to a light as it turned green, *there was a Z28 sitting at the light* so i floored it, and it lit into second like there was no tomorrow. the guy couldnt believe the car was stock. im just curious as to why i get different responces each time i press on the gas.

ok, this one is kinda hard to explain.-- there's a sound that comes from under the car, like from the middle of the car, and it sounds like its a spinning part because when i have the car in park and rev the engine, the sound gets faster, but u dont hear it when the car is in drive, only in park or nutral.

only the LSC's had dual exhaust.
well since i have a system both driver and passanger side mirrors shake and also my rear view.
question about the gas responce i believe it is the torque converter locking up, which is normal is think? getting a chip will fix that.

well sorry to burst your bubble, but you do not have an LSC. i can tell off the bat, cause you have chrome molding. the LSC's are monochrome! sorry dude do not worry about it though it is not the end of the world, you still have a mark!

What are you defining as "dual" (not duel, its not fighting exhaust after all :D) ) exhaust? the fact it has 2 tips?
real dual exhuast has 2 seperate pipes all the way back (can have X's or H's)
Non-LSC's came with a 2 - 1 - 2 setup.. 2 pipes from the manifolds to a single pipe and splitting back into 2

now if you do indeed have real dual exhaust, there is always the possibility of someone swapping it along the way...having stock sized dual exhaust isnt that much of a bonus anyway..
 
well, i think mine is the 2-1-2 setup but a guy that was a general manager at lincoln ordered the car special, and had this car customized. he told us that he ordered the LSC package on the '94 so that he could drive it, and tell the central office what he thought about the package.

thats why i thought it was an LSC but later when the cars out of the garage, i'll look underneath and see whats up

i lurned along time ago but ppl can say what ever they want but hey find out look under the car take some pics let us know ok cool :)
 
well, heres a better idea of how to tell.. look on the pumpkin for the tag, see if it has 3.27 listed on there... if it doesnt, not an LSC..
 
what dose 3.27 mean just curiuus i dont have a mark but just curious what you saying
 
Also, you got the perforated leather? Thats another trait. I really don't know why were even asking these questions guys......The "TRUE" LSC package came out during the 95' model year. Almost everyone knows that.

no on the perforated leather but i THINK 3.73's, i'll have to check

and yes its a 2-1-2 :(

but that will change after i buy a new exhaust system from geno :p
 
i thout a 3 cat is good why take the 3rd cat of man wont that make the check engine light come on or somthing man
 
Nope! the check engine light will not come on. For your last question, If it sounds like a "ticking" noise it may be a small exhaust leak.
 
its almost like a squeaking sound... like the sound ur bed makes when having sex? sry to put it that way but if that helps any lol
 
I thought I bought an LSC too because my carpets say LSC on them. even the guy said that it was an LSC.(I knew very little about Marks back then)I think it would be cheap too buy the true dual because all you need to do is take the Y pipe off and but two pipes leading to the other pipes.
Mine never almost chrips when shifting from 1-2. Does that mean my torque convertor is Bad or I need to replace something else?
Mine shakes the mirrors also, All of them.(I wished my town car did that but my conti does, so that is good)
 
well you ahve revers merrors on the conti mark you know that dont you

yeah, My Mark VIII and the continental has reverse mirrors but My Town car doesn't, it already has huge mirrors.
