Couple new problems, Yippy

So 2 weeks ago i got on the highway and the check engine temp came on. i pulled over and turned the car off then back on and it was gone and didnt come back until today. i was picking up some food and it came on again. this time i had to wait 5 min. to turn it on until it was gone. What could cause this. it sounds weird when i drive when the lights on.

My ac doesnt work, what are likely culprits to this problem.

How do i know if my ball joint is a 14mm or 16mm. i need to order one.

I would suggest checking the coolant level. You may have some air pockets in the system. This can cause your air not to work up to par. You would need to drain your system and refill. Here is the tech pages for that process....

my friends valve covers are bad.. his CEL turns on and his AC turns off.. he has a LSE

I had the SAME EXACT problem. Do you hear a howling sound when it's acting up? I got my coolant flushed and it fixed the problem.
