Ive got a creaking and clanking noise coming from my drivers side... i thought it was my old struts, but just replaced with new ones, replaced upper control arms, and lower ball joints as well and still the same... i put my car on ramps and while under the car i had someone push up and down to see where the noise was coming from... upon inspection it appears to be from where my lower control arm and airstrut bolt together... i didnt get to take the passengers side apart to compare to, but.. my question is... on the lower control arm, it appears to have a rubber bushing with a metal sleeve that has teeth on each end... is that sleeve/bushing suppose to have any play or be able to rotate? the reason im asking is because i took a look at where my new strut connects and there are scratches where it seems the teeth are digging into... i beleive this is where the noise is coming from...i thought at first maybe i didnt torque it down enough so i tightened it as much as i possibly could... but no luck... have any of you guys had any experience with this issue??? any ideas??? thanks in advance....
