Rotors
Most of my TC's have cross drilled and slotted rotors on them. When a new car needs rotors, that is what we replace them with. Some of the cars have these rotors with over 200,000 on them with no signs of needing replacement or turning. They just don't warp or wear out! The only thing is, they make a peculiar wooshing sound when the brakes are applied for a while when they're new.
We get our rotors, and the "dustless" pads from Randy at Brake Warehouse, 1622 E. North Street, Suite 7, Greenville, S. C., 29607, 800-814-0702.
Randy will drill and slot the correct rotors for your car and ship them, usually within a day or two.
We've saved a ton of money by using these rotors in place of stock replacement rotors, even though they're about twice the price of the rotors you can get at any parts store. As I noted, they last just about forever, and can really bring these big, heavy cars down in a hurry when needed.
Hope this helps you.
