Did anyone ever start making custom grills for the Mark VIII. I remember the one guy, I think in Texas, was going to make them out of metal, but nothing seems to have come from that project.

Driller has a great looking grill, with it's horizontal rails, can those be purchased anywhere?

And, not trusting my own body work, what would it cost to have a body shop do something creative with my current grill?

Thanks. :)

I got the grille from BlackIceLSC who got it from another Mark VIII owner on the left coast. He had it primered/painted and didn't care for the look. I took it to my paint guy this spring when he redid the bumper/hood/rockers and had him color match it to the car and I liked the way it turned out.

It's a one-of-a-kind as far as I know.

I hear that Bry.

Here is the one I customized for my 95'. To be honest i'm not looking to EVER do that again. Too much hassle, for the little gains.

I think it was a gold color originally, wasn't it?

those both look bad-a$$.. i've been waiting to get mine back from my body guy since APRIL !!!.. yes, APRIL.. it's sort of a combo of both of those.. same # of beams as 94m5, but more solid like Geno's.. i'll post a pic if i EVER get it back

ive heard that paul wall does custom grillz??... haha jk

Those grills looks sick- im also a fan of painting the grill body color on the gen 1's, i think that looks real mean. Ive never seen any custom gen2 grills; looking at mine i guess theres not really much u can do with it tho to keep it flowing with the curved front.
