I was just thinking about some custom mods and one thing I would love to do is put those blinker lights on my rear-view mirrors. Then I thought how much better it would be just to slap some of the rear-view mirrors from the new Mercedes-Benz's, you know the ones with the blinker on the outside of the mirror housing. Just wondering if anyone knows how easy this would be to do and if Mercedes would be willing to color match. Just want to get some feedback before I go to the Mercedes dealership myself.

If Mercedes wont color match, Im sure just about any decent body shop can strip/repaint the housings.

I'm almost positive quikls has done this mod. I'm sure he'll chime in sooner or later.

yes quikls has done this and i started and have all the wires and blinkers made, i just need to put the lights in. i cracked my D mirror so i need to get a new one. its a pretty easy DIY project. check the tech articles im pretty sure theres a how to there if not either quik or i could email it to u.
