Which do you think is better in terms of reliability, performance

I dont plan on buying a mustang this year, but a couple years down the road. I was confused as to why the v8 would use RFF when the v6 uses DAMB

The previous duratec 30 produced 232 horsepower in the ls and jaguar using DAMB, while the taurus and escape used rff and could only produce 200, so I just want to understand the pros and cons of both technologies.
