Thats pretty sweet! It seems to be the big thing now, to put a new fuel injected motor into an old car! Makes me wonder, Think a 460 would fit in the Mark? haha!..It might actually be a neat idea! SHM sells a 460/500CI? motor with 600 something horse...That would be quite diffrent in the Mark!

as big as the modular 4.6 dohc are,the 460 probably would fit!!!
.very heavy though,need a motorsports aluminum block/heads.

There is a guy on the SCCoA ot the TCCoA (can't remember) running a Tbird with a 460BB in it. So, Chances are that it would fit in the VIII's engine compartment.

SHM also sells a 600HP 4v Modular too. About 17K.

I am was pondering one... Would I get it? In the end, an engine like that is not really worth the investment if you use it for a "civilized" application. If I were into pro/amateur racing, yes. OTherwise... No.
