what the hell is with these stupid kids. some kid breaks into a fight to get his friend out and he gets beat in the head. as he lays there these kids stand there like nothing happened. This kind of attitude is so disgusting

Most kids today could care less about someone else now days. It's all about me and what can I get. I think that it goes back to parents 1) not schooling these kids "old school", ie, if I asked my parents for something and they said no, that was it. There was no sneaking around their backs to get it and there was no smart/back talk. I made that mistake once with my parents and got the worst ass beating of my life, and 2) these parents GIVING these kids any and everything they want with no restrictions, creating the it's all about me attitude. Makes my blood boil

Its tragic to see a young man die at such a early age over stupid and sensless violence.
Now he is dead and three other teens are going to be charged with murder.

There is the larger, social question that needs to be examined though.
The behavior of those kids involved in the violence and witnessing it is not healthy. What created that atmosphere? Where are the problems?
