damn godless heathens

Most kids today could care less about someone else now days. It's all about me and what can I get. I think that it goes back to parents 1) not schooling these kids "old school", ie, if I asked my parents for something and they said no, that was it. There was no sneaking around their backs to get it and there was no smart/back talk. I made that mistake once with my parents and got the worst ass beating of my life, and 2) these parents GIVING these kids any and everything they want with no restrictions, creating the it's all about me attitude. Makes my blood boil:mad:

like the guy on fox news said they are nothing but a bunch of primates they have become so uncivilized that i think they are beginning to devolve

According to the Presbyterians, our founding fathers were godless heathens.

You're obviously not familiar with the founding fathers.
Are you talking about the dudes that established a Constitution that doesn't acknowledge or make any reference to the existence or providence of the Supreme Being, thus creating a nation that has no God?

No, I'm talking about the ones that said that we derive our natural rights from the creator and set forth to establish a secular federal government of limited powers.

Care to be more specific.
I see a story about the Samoans dealing with the tsunami and an interview with the John&Kate +8 guy on cnn.com.

I have been watching this story.

Its tragic to see a young man die at such a early age over stupid and sensless violence.
Now he is dead and three other teens are going to be charged with murder.

There is the larger, social question that needs to be examined though.
The behavior of those kids involved in the violence and witnessing it is not healthy. What created that atmosphere? Where are the problems?

The constitution wasn't a philosophical document, but a set of rules.
Too bad they were ambiguous rules.

It wouldn't have made sense to include such things in the constitution.
It would have made very good sense, dude. Principles vs. precedents and all that stuff.

Not really, but feel free to try.
Look at the scoreboard, dude.
