Dash computer

Hello all..it has been a while since I have logged in. Hope most of you are doing well. I have a question and if this is in the wrong section I do apologize and ask that you redirect it for me.

The main computer in the center of the dash, is that needed for the 94 Mark VIII's to run and drive or can I get rid of it all together?

I am completely redoing the dash. Gonna be removing that computer to put my digital air ride gauge up there. I may just relocate the computer to the center counsel.
