My heat is not working so I ran a diagnostic on my HVAC and the DATC was 2477 which means = RECONFIGURE the DATC module.

What am I supposed to do to fix this. I searched and I couldn't find anyone that gives a solution for this. Someone please help, its freezing here.

I have a 2001 Lincoln LS V8.

Thanks!!!

I'm wondering if you will need some type of flash tool to do that. It may be a dealer only thing.

Thats what Im worried about, Anyone know for sure? Also would buying a new head unit for my AC/Heat do the trick and not have to worry about paying the dealer. I can get the unit for around $35-40 used

Thanks!!

AFAIK, there are two choices: Dealer tool to reconfigure module or replace the DATC. It seems like a strange code to get. I wonder if something connected to the DATC could cause this? (Does this have to be internal to the DATC or not?) The gen II manual only says to reconfigure module. It doesn't say how.

I think that I would try that first. (Just don't ask me to chip in if that doesn't work.)
