DCCV replacement

Thanks for all the previous info on DCCV's, it helped narrow down issue. When looking for replacement for DCCV for 2002 Lincoln LS V6, I see replacement parts from Metrix for $64, Four Seasons for $141, Bosch $159, Motocraft $172. They all call it the Heater Control Valve...is this the correct replacement for the DCCV? Any comments on the different manufacturers?

it has been called the heater control valve before.

It's been called many of other nasty things as well
... mostly during removal and install, ask me how I know!

I think I'm in this boat right now how did you remove it from the bottom or the top.

A bit from both top and bottom but mostly from the bottom, clamps from the lines were undone from down below.
the First GEN has the Aux Coolant pump directly above it, I had it out as well for replacement so therefor I had access down directly to it.

Also the way it's mounted on it's bracket, one bolt needs to come out completely and the other only loosened as it is "hooked" around it.
